Good morning, this is Trustee Tom McGorty with an important storm update.

As you know, we received a significant amount of snow followed by freezing rain. This combination has made it extremely challenging for Township plows to keep up.

Regarding driveway clearing:

Our contractor had to wait for the Township to clear the streets before beginning driveways. If he started earlier, the Township plows would have pushed snow right back into the driveways he had already opened. We ask for your patience. The contractor's crew worked until nearly 2:00 AM and returned early this morning to continue clearing.

Garbage and Recycling:

Please put out both barrels today—garbage and recycling. There may be a delay of up to 24 hours. If your garbage has not been collected after that time, then contact Public Works.

Travel Advisory:

We strongly encourage everyone to stay home unless you have a true emergency or essential need. We understand some residents must travel for work, medical appointments, or to pick up medication. If you do not need to be on the roads, please remain home for your safety and to help crews work more efficiently.

Community Update:

Tracy's 1 PM class has been canceled.
