Yes, spring has definitely sprung, and with it your Board is preparing for another great season of summer events. One of the most anticipated activities here in the South is our pool opening, which will take place on Monday, May 25, 2026. We know how many of our residents look forward to spending time there.
With such a large number of dedicated pool goers, the Board has made several exciting changes this year. In the spirit of giving residents more opportunities to share ideas and recommendations, a motion was passed to establish a Pool Committee that will help manage all pool operations moving forward.
A Pool Monitor Supervisor—a member of our existing paid pool monitor staff—will be appointed to lead this committee. The supervisor will report directly to the Board of Trustees and will communicate any issues, concerns, operational needs, and most importantly, your recommendations.
This year, we're looking forward to having even more fun with the creative ideas you bring to us. We are also exploring the possibility of offering light entertainment at the pool throughout the summer.
